Book review: Unfinished- A memoir by Priyanka Chopra Jonas
You Gotta Finish “Unfinished”!
It takes us just a second to rate an actor as the worst or as the best one.
All we see to judge that and to give our ratings is just one “flop” movie of the actor, which could be a “flop” movie from our point-of-view, as well.
But after all, it isn’t us who write the script. Who gives their everything to play the character in the best possible way and then it isn’t us who put in all that money and efforts as a producer or the casting directors, or even as the cameramen.
It's all that happens at the back, and we don’t give a damn about it. We focus on what we see on the outside. But if you want to peek into the busy lives of actors, their struggle to reach all the way up to where they are right now, and to see how they toil themselves to try and give out their best of the best on the screen, read Unfinished: A memoir, by Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
This book is an autobiography, which takes you all the way back to the time when Priyanka Chopra was just a normal girl, who was born to doctor parents, and who then, with the help of her hard work and luck, became who she is.
This book just got launched in February, but oh, baby! People went gaga over this book, as soon as it was available for pre-order. Well, this book is worth going gaga for, by the way. And I guess because of...
Number one, Priyanka Chopra being completely transparent, frank, and open about her life in this book.
Number two is because of how well this book is written. I must say that the sentences are beautifully written, everything is expressed so clearly, and the vocabulary used is totally next level.
And three, as this book is really appealing, mainly because of its front cover, its simpleness, and the beautiful pictures in it, from some of the moments from Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ life.
This book includes every experience, every phase of Priyanka’s life. From her childhood to her changing schools everywhere. From her schooling in America to her sudden Miss World success. From the ups and downs in her acting and musical career to her immediate popularity in Hollywood! And from surprising everyone by marrying Nick Jonas, to her painful, yet important-to-know UNICEF experiences.
This book might be 239 pages, but once you start reading it, it's a smooth slope. You read it in such a flow, that maybe you finish it in 11 days as I did!
Anyways, this book absolutely won my heart and a million others, too! I recommend all of you, to buy and read it now!
